'Lost World' Found in SE Asia

This is an article in Today (8 Feb).

While I am happy that there is a 'Garden of Eden' that still remains untainted in the 21st century, I am sceptical that it will remain so. Especially now that scientists have announced its location, I am sure hunters & poachers can't wait to hunt these animals down to add to their exotic collection or sell them.

Some may argue that governments can impose legislation or sanctions or cordon off the area as national reserves etc. But reality is, endangered animals are still being poached & killed each day despite these measures.

This first thought that came to my mind when I read this was, "Oh no, paradise gone!"
This is how much faith I have in my fellow species.
Please leave them alone.
