A Lighter Moment

Do your cats dream?

I can't speak for the rest of Chaos but I believe Alex does. He loves to sleep on his back with his belly exposed. Sometimes, I would catch him trying to catch or scratch an imaginery something with his paws. Sometimes he would wake crying, from a nightmare, I think.

Is it odd? But do I find this little thingy of his to be quite endearing.

Lokey was a terribly abused dog and if he could sweat, I would imagine he would be drenched in sweat as he whined and cried in his sleep during the initial period of his adoption. It is only recently that he seemed to have good dreams like chasing after some objects. But he still goes into panic mode whenever there is lightning and thunder. Could this be due to the experience of being drenched in thunderstorms after he was thrown out for being blind? Animals, like human, are sentient beings - we all dream. We abuse animals because we do not undertand their languages and therefore deem inferior and fit for laboratory testings, etc. At one time, not too long ago, black people were also deemed inferior, justifying their enslavement. Now it is specie-ism.
